Omarion has had a dynamic career, no doubt about that.
First album "O" debuted #1 led by the singles "O" and "Touch." However, he fails to maintain his high-charting capability with the second album a year later.
Remember the Best of Both Worlds with the moguls Jay-Z and R. Kelly? Well, Omarion followed up his second album "21" with a collaboration with Bow Wow. The album was called "Face-Off." Like the Best of Both Worlds, Face Off received mixed reviews.
After acting in a horror film Somebody Help Me, Omarion returned with his third album. There was once high-anticipation for this album since Omarion had been affiliated with Lil' Wayne. Yet, Omarion decided to leave Young Money and created his own imprint with EMI. Because the hype was not kept up, this first major release rap/r&b release in 2010 was not heard. It's not even on the top of just R&B section on Itunes, which represents a commercial failure.
The Album itself is something like 3/5 stars. It opens up with "I Get it in" featuring Gucci Mane, who appears to be the most-featured artist on hits in 2010. Gucci's lazy and raspy delivery blends well in with many artists. Nevertheless, it makes "I Get it in" the lead single that receives radio plays.
However, the energy displayed in the first song does not carry over. Other notable songs are Hoodie featuring Jay Rock and Speedin'. Overall, the album is just mediocre and does not provide the charisma to make it a best of 2010 like Trey's Ready in 2009.
